We had a dream of Africa

 

Africa had always seemed like the far off unreachable continent where each country was so different to the next and many home to wild animals and amazing people.  We saw the movie "Out of Africa" and so too were hooked and longed to fulfill that dream.

 

Through my husband's work we were given the opportunity to visit Johannesburg and jumped at the idea.  Whilst he traveled further north to the Entabeni game reserve I explored Jo'burg and then we both traveled North East to the Timbavati Game Reserve for an experience that not only blew us away, but also the game rangers we traveled with.

 

Sadly, what they say about Africa is true, that once you get a taste you will yearn to go back.  We got the bug.
